I was just wondering if there's a reason why pyslds states don't provide a prediction functionality, the way pylds states do? In fact wouldn't it be pretty much exactly the same as the pylds states sample_predictions, assuming the predicted discreet state is the last state the system switched to?

Hi Natalia,
I think the only reason is laziness on our part. It's very easy to sample predictions forward in time using the Markovian assumptions of the SLDS. I'll leave this issue open to remind us to implement this feature!
Best,
Scott
