Performance of SLDS

Hi Matt and Scott,

When I run the simple_demo.py, I get a very poor prediction/inference on the discrete states while this looks like to be a simple problem. In general, how accurate should we expect this method to be e.g. in terms of accuracy of inferred discrete states?
