List of web based math editors
Since not all of these use MathJax, it's not clear where to put them. But it's a resource worth building.
- OERpub editor open source, Aloha-plugin, not quite wysiwyg, supported by OERpub, ConneXions and others.

- FireMath, a MathML 2 editor realized as a Firefox extension.

- EquationEditor MIT License, HTML Based, uses MathJax fonts.
- VisualEditor, Wikipedia's rich text editor, which has a built-in LaTeX editor for the Math extension. MIT License.
- Guppy MIT licensed Javascript WYSIWYG math editor (demo)
- VisualMathEditor - VisualMathEditor is a LaTeX, AscciMath and MathML editor developed in Javascript and HTML. It operates independently on the web or locally. It has many features and menus that help the equation-entry and allow their posting and backup.
- MathLive Visual editor implementing the LaTeX layout. Round-trip LaTeX. Outputs LaTeX, MathML and MASTON (JSON Abstract Syntax tree). No third-party library dependencies. Accessible. Works on desktop and mobile. MIT License. https://github.com/arnog/mathlive

- MJXGUI - A WYSIWYG widget for building equations on the web with a GUI and exporting them as LaTeX.
- Mathcha Free powerful WYSIWYG math editor, support Normal Text editing, Math Symbols/Layouts, Diagram/Graph Drawing, can export to Latex (Math Mode only), save as Image or printing, and share your document with others
