Getting jerks while scrolling (Not smooth)

The scrolling is not at all smooth. I've updated most of the things myself but it's hardly making any difference.
Can you help me, what can I do or what changes do I need to make on the current library to make it better?

I submitted PR #9 a while back that made a number of improvements to scrolling performance, but it was taken out because #13 was thought to have been caused by that code, but when #13 was correctly identified and fixed the scroll improvements weren't pulled back in.

The changes are still alive in my fork, but it may be missing a few commits from this repo

I've made some more changes to the code and this has improved the scrolling a lot. Will you like to see the code so you enhance it more? I'll make a new repo and you can check then. what do you say?
