This is not a duplication of #16 so thank you for bringing it to my attention.
This functionality is available currently only in files with the .quickcode extension. These are created by default when you make a new file in the app. Along with this it is also registered in the Xcode project file as a file type that can be imported by the iOS Files app.
To achieve this with other file types, they will have to be registered in the Xcode project file. I will work on this is v1.2 as v1.1 is about to be released. Thank you again for raising this issue.
First thanks for this amazing app :)
currently its not possible to open a file from the Files app through share and thus make the app default app for some files like js etc.
Please add an option to open files from outside the app
