How distribute it on My Game?
Just click on Apply Geometry button.
The data is stored inside you scene in a child node named _grass.
And simply distribute your game.
The foliage data is stored as a script, is unusual but is the better way as I found to store it and take advantages of static geometry.
For this reason some users stay confused and uncomfortable with it.
First of all, no viruz or malware is included.
Second, the distribution rules
All data stored is result from users work, this files just store it, then all data is owned by user.
Suppose that user need to check this script content, it include a header using MIT licence. To make user permissions to distribute, change, or CLEAN this licence from file. No additions or issues on his final solution (game).
It is completly differs from the code licence stored in GitHub, because that code is the entire plugin... it not will be included on your project.
And I not Apple, I not Adobe... I believe that a pencil manufacturer not need co-authoring on the painting.
