button size on re-entering

Describe the bug
When we work with the software and do not exit the software, but a long time passes.
When we re-enter the software, all the icons are displayed in a very small size and the access level sometimes returns to the Basic level.

To Reproduce
it happens randomly.

Expected behavior
button size and level do not change

Device (please complete the following information):
Android 5, 6 and 8

buttons are created when the app starts with the size set by the user.
since they display, they are still there.
one could check if buttons in dialog, that haven't been opened before are also of the wrong size.

the change in the activity level is more puzzling, because this is a number in the program, taken from a value stored in the app preferences darabase (which is managed by the system).
