There are two aspects of devices:

Jarolift components known to work with this software

Known to work

  • TDRR 01W

    Wall-mount receiver 1-channel

Needs testing:

  • TDRRT-01W

    Wall-mount receiver 1-channel with programmable clock

ESP8266 boards and transceiver boards

CC1101 board

The CC1101 chip can send+receive digital data in a frequency range from ~300-900MHz, but the antenna and external components vary.

Jarolift components operate at 433MHz, so make sure you buy a CC1101 transceiver board dedicated to this frequency, otherwise the range may be short (down to zero...)

This board is bought on ebay, article number 272455130589 (current of 2018-05-19) works for me:
