Style Guide Suggetions

Some of this may be dictated by CRC, but here are some suggestions that come to mind or things we've discussed. Add to this as you think of things.

Fonts

• Headers (e.g. Roboto Condensed)
• Main
  • I think I would prefer same for html vs. pdf (right now I've used Roboto which is pretty clean, but open to suggestions)
• Code
  • Roboto Mono

Misc

• Bold/color instead of italics for emphasis
• Oxford commas?
• Use boxes instead of asides
• Packages as package {package} or something else?

Code General

• Consistency for R and Py
  • typical R style for most things e.g. spaces for args ffs
  • Py indentation (4 spaces- you can set this for a specific project in RStudio)
  • snake casing
  • err on the side of (white)space
