BrightSign Support #151
Comments
I have worked with BrightSign briefly on my previous job, but I basically used their windows client, not actually programming in BrightScript. Will see how far the implementations are at this moment. |
Let’s try getting these sample scripts for the legacy models running. |
|
At the very least just add support to the first sample scripts. |
Basic support for Brighsigns would be great. However, a lot of Brightsign stuff depends on hardware connected to the device, so may need to be emulated. |
First add support for those first scripts from 2008 as a demo |
If you don’t know already, BrightScript is also designed for, and originally designed for Roku’s BrightSign ( a digital signage system ), hence its name, and they later branched out into their own company and added features like HTML5 and interactivity. Sample code is available, however I recommend you implement the legacy BrightSign sample code and work your way up.
