UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc3 in position 5: ordinal not in range(128)

Could you please provide some details about:

  • Database type
  • Connection settings
  • QGIS version

3.8.1-Zanzibar Zanzibar, dcd95cc648
Postgis server and dont know more

We have åäö here in sweden and when i search a name that have one i get this Error, is this fixable? 8)

UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode character '\xe4' in position 5: ordinal not in range(128)
And my seach was "solvändan", you can debug and try to use our åäö. 8)

After update åäö still not working
