I am trying to change the coordinate reference system of a shapefile, but I am unable to understand which functions to use. Please guide me in the same

Actually my use requires the .tiff file and the shapefile to be in the same Coordinate Reference system. Hence I need to convert the CRS for the shapefile to match the one of .tiff file
