No auto login to gamemode

Hi im having an issue where after clicking the game mode button I have to then enter my password at the login screen to goto the gamescope session. I have verfied that step 1 and 2 have been done correctly and they do correctly match my username. Do you have any ideas?

Also another issue I am having is that mangohud is not showing ingame when i use the performance overlay or by using the launch command mangohud %command%. I have tried both mangohud, lib32-mangohud and mangohud-git, lib32-mangohud-git. I could not find where to get mangoapp from but i think it was already installed

I was able to fix the MangoHud issue by installing MangoHud using this https://github.com/ChimeraOS/chimeraos/blob/master/pkgs/mangohud/PKGBUILD

Im still having the login issue though

Hi, sorry for the late response, mangoapp and also mangohud for x11 and Wayland were merged into the same packaged called mangohud and lib32-mangohud so you don't need to separately install mangoapp.

You could try installing goverlay and vulkan-tools and customize your mangohud config just to see if it runs normally on desktop mode running mangohud vkcube on a terminal and pressing shift + f12.

If mangohud shows up then something is happening with the session wrapper.

Also post here the output of journalctl -b | grep lightdm too see what's the problem with your autologin configuration.
