Streaming a single window instead of a whole screen?

With a Linux host, what would be the best way to stream a single window (for a given app definition, say)? Is there something already available in sunshine? Or should we use xvfb-run (or equivalent) and stream only that fake screen? If that's so, wouldn't that mean we'd miss GPU access on a specific app?
