Preview for posts that are work in progress

When I create a new entry, the back office gives me a nice way to edit the content. It would be nice, however, to "preview" the final page in the browser, i.e. see how the resulting web page looks like. Ideally before making the new entry visible.

This is possible already. I can manually create the URL for the entry from the slug, and view it in the browser. But this is cumbersome. It would be nice to have a link in the editor for the entry that opens a new browser window with a preview.
