i stumbled about this post looking for something else but i might have a solution since i had that problem too.

you need to disable the "Compact prompt layout" in the settings under ui alternatives. then you can enable the one from this theme.

Thanks. This saved me a ton of headache in trying to figure out why the prompts were crammed into the extra network sidebars. I guess I had enabled "compact prompt layout" at some point and forgotten about it.
