I'm not sure if you are aware of them, but lnd has official containers which can be verified. Does it make sense to still keep this repo around and maintained when there is an official solution?

(Your dockerized apps are amazing, but when there are official containers, I don't understand why you should use this and not the official ones)

You do have a valid point there.

I will take a look at the official repo for some of my lightning installs.

And will try to maintain this one and maybe put out a deprecation notice to give people time to move off if it works out.

Anyone in favor or not in favor of this?

Though we do keep other stuff with build tags too that people are in fact using

The biggest drawback is the containers seem to be running as root

uid=0(root) gid=0(root) groups=0(root),1(bin),2(daemon),3(sys),4(adm),6(disk),10(wheel),11(floppy),20(dialout),26(tape),27(video)
