Hi @lloda

I'm one of the core-devs on xtensor and I was wondering if you ever had the chance to check out the project? I think we're working on similar ideas, and maybe you would have some feedback for us, or maybe we could join forces?

Or maybe there are opportunities for interoperability?

Cheers!

Wolf

Hello @wolfv. Sorry for taking so long to reply, I don't come here very often :-/

I wasn't aware of xtensor. Hey it's a really popular project. It seems it follows Numpy conventions?

I not convinced that those are better. It's probably the right choice for xtensor, since they have a lot of support behind them. But I like being able to change my mind on how ra-ra works, ride the latest standard, etc. — you cannot do that once you get users :p

You do a few things that I'd like to have but I just don't have the bandwidth to support. SIMD, etc.

I'll try to get a closer look. Thx for the interest & the links.
