Issue with long running AIDE updates

Hello -

I am trying to utilize this Ansible role.
Is there a way to get this to run against very large file systems, when I run the update playbook, it either times out due to SSH, or if I use asynchronous flags in Ansible with a timeout on the job, the job appears to fail. How can I make this work for large file systems where the update takes more than an hour?
