v1.0 Release Candidate 2

This is a pre-release for release 1.0.

TP8010 changes were merged to the upstream libnvme project earlier today. Some of the APIs were renamed in the process, so nvme-stas has to be updated to use the new APIs.

This new release also includes many documentation updates.

v1.0 Release Candidate 1

This is a pre-release for release 1.0.

nvme-stas runs on libnvme, which interfaces with the Linux kernel nvme module.

The kernel community, after reviewing the changes that were submitted to the Linux kernel for nvme-stas release candidate 0, asked for the Explicit Registration using the DIM PDU to be moved from the kernel to user space. This new release candidate contains those changes. In parallel, changes were also submitted to libnvme through this pull request: linux-nvme/libnvme#241. This nvme-stas release candidate depends on this libnvme pull request.

nvme-stas runs on libnvme, which interfaces with the linux kernel nvem module. Changes to libnvme and the kernel are being reviewed right now. Based the feedback from those reviews changes to nvme-stas may be required.
