debug gtag with Chrome Extension

I found your plugin and start using it as a base for wrapping the gtag functionality as a NuxtJs module.

I am wondering how to debug gtag, do you have any recommendation? I use Google Tag Assistant but it does not track anything neither seems to recognize that gtag or ga is included in a project.
