Why can private persons claim to play a "world cup" on Lichess?

Today, someone posted a stream on Lichess, titled:

The link lead to a private twitch stream of the user calcu_later.

Why can private people do that? I find this disturbing.

I may be a little late, but the site administrators only can add a Big Button Blue.
and in this case it is a "World Cup" it is from the Crazyhouse variant and not from standard chess
