Using a Sinden lightgun that's perfectly calibrated in the Sinden software itself, that has dead accurate aim in all other cores & emulators, incl. most games run through SwanStation, the aim on the calibration screens for these 2 games is consistently to the left and below the target. This is to such a degree that having the slightest chance at acceptable calibration becomes a mad quest of adjusting the lightgun scale, the white border as well as the overscan ever so slightly just to maybe see slight improvements here and there. I end up with an unacceptable encroachment on the game area by the lightgun border if I'm to be at all happy with the result. This seems very odd to me, as even other Namco games in the same core (both earlier Point Blanks!) work perfectly.
Note that this isn't a general complaint about aim drift near the screen edges. The overall aim offset is rather striking.
