Cheat support in retroarch #87
Comments
The snes9x2005 core supports cheats (however, some SNES cores, most notably bsnes, don't). I just played Super Mario Kart in snes9x2005 with the "Koopa as Mario" and "Special Cup in 50cc" cheats enabled. You just use the Cheats item in the Quick Menu. Though, I am on Linux, but I can't imagine that there wouldn't be cheats support on all platforms. |
I never could get it to work on the pocket go 2v2 It's like a rg350 in case you don't know what pocket go 2 is. |
You just start your game, go to the Quick Menu, select the Cheats item, enable the cheats you want, and select Apply Changes (you can also automatically apply cheats on game start if that's your thing). I found this video from libretro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDFipsbsd2Q which gives gives a visual rundown of the process. |
I will try it again when I update the cores. |
On the rg 350 cheat support does not work even with a updated core. |
I just downloaded retroarch for the rg 350 and I see that there is no cheat support in this emulator will we see it one day?
