With other cores using m3u files the discs can have a CD1, CD2 extension.
I am using chd files and if I try to use the CD# extension with m3u files the games don't load and go straight to the cd player. However if I leave the chd extension on the roms and in the m3u the games load fine.
bad_sample.m3u game (disc 1).CD1 game (disc 2).CD2
good_sample.m3u game (disc 1).chd game (disc 2).chd
