Buggy selection of next candidates

When selecting the right arrow in the choice of candidate characters, sometimes the whole choice window moves to the top left of the screen instead of selecting the next set of candidates, and then nothing changes after it's pressed again (or it returns to the original position).

I think this is fixed in mutter and gnome-shell in Fedora 39.

In any case it's still a problem on Ubuntu.
