Kernel crash

Hi,
I made some modification in the Background.c file to add a case for the EOS after I added the case and made the changes on pirturbation file and all the files and I made sure that the case is valid input parameter for the background_w_fld(pba, pba->a, &w_fld, &dw_over_da, &integral_fld, pba->m, pba->delta), pba->error_message, pba->error_message); function
why the kernel dies or what i have to do to solve this problem
