If the ansible playbook is applied as the user for which nvm should be installed,
it would be nice to reload the shell so the nvm/node command become available immediately.

Are you running your playbook locally (no shh)? I don't think that this is possible since the playbook is executed always under a different shell. You can always source ~/.profile after changes.
