Understand how application icon works and add a custom icon:

  • Understand how it works across Linux desktop environments and distributions.
    • Unity
    • Gnome
    • KDE
    • LXDE
    • Others
  • Understand how it works for Android.
  • Understand how it works for Windows.
  • Create the icons (artwork).
    • High resolution icon.
    • Low resolution icons with different sizes.
  • Integrate icons to the source-code in a way that they are correctly shipped for different OS (Linux, Android, Windows).
