For any site page that uses the "Content" page template the title tag doesn't use text from the backend site page SEO title tag field if entered - just uses page name.

If the SEO Meta Description field is left empty in the backend field, it uses the Description value from the actual page template for the field in the front end. This behaviour is OK.

I think this is a backend issue, I'm not able to see how its setting the meta description if I remove the SEO description text. Also, I was unable to find what the seo title variable is, It doesnt seem to be in the docs @robotpony maybe you could shed some light? cheers :)
