Feature Request - Multiple pilot support

I would like to be able to have a copilot with me. The 747-400 allows me to connect with a friend and fly in the same cockpit, and I would like to have that functionality in my fav airplane ;)

I am willing to help out if I get pointed in the right direction

This isn't an easy task. afaik, in other aircraft, you can fly it but you can't interact with any systems.
Imo, if we add this feature the systems should be synced so that both pilots can fully interact.

I thought of this in the past with some sort of sync protocol to make sure the state stays synced never got around to implement anything tho and I don't think I've got any notes from back then.

This is certainly a tough task and will need maintenance as we continue to work on the aircraft since things change and need to be accounted when synced.
Are you happy to keep that work up even after the initial implementation?

Do you have any experience with Nasal?

I might have been a little too ambitious 🤔 I am interested in contributing because I really like the project, however I do have a lot on my plate, so I will look into it, but no guarantees :/

The other option, to save you from maintenance, would be to wait till we're mostly done (post V1.0) so things don't need to be constantly updated.
