Exporting a PDF with the choices the students have made results in an extremely long PDF that cannot be used due to poor formatting. For example, exporting the choices of 42 students for 15 options with the students choosing at least 3 options results in a PDF with nearly 130 pages. The text in the columns of this PDF is written vertically as each column has a width of only 1 character. Styled like this the PDF is therefore useless.

Unfortunately reducing the columns that are exported as a PDF is not possible since there a functions used that are moodle internal only. If you just want to have a PDF with the allocations of the students you could export the table from the allocations overview and not the ratings and allocations overview. Alternatively, it is possible to export the results as an excel-file and then convert them to PDF, which gives you a table with wide columns over multiple pages.
