Description
In order to maintain the chosen Markdown format in the Moodleoverflow activity when replying to a post or creating a new post, I would like
as a user
to have the selected Markdown format fixed in the Moodleoverflow activity.
Current status
When Markdown format is selected in the Moodleoverflow activity, this setting is not used when replying to a post or when adding a new discussion topic. Instead, the format switches back to the default Moodle auto-format.
Reproduce the bug:
• Step 1: In your personal settings, set the editor to "Plain text area" (/user/editor.php parameter “Text editor”)
• Step 2: Create a Moodleoverflow activity with default settings.
• Step 3: Create a post in Markdown format (see screenshot 1).
• Step 4: Click on the post to reply. The format will automatically change back to Moodle auto format (see screenshot 2).
• Step 5: Add a new discussion topic. The format will automatically change back to Moodle auto format (see screenshot 3).
