This organisation is for those interested in learning the C family of programming languages; primarily C and C++ along with interesting libraries, such as Qt and OpenGL, for use in the computer generated graphics industries like Games and Film.

Goals

To gain a better understanding of how the computer works and the ability to produce software that aid in the creation of next-generation film and/or games.

Some examples of projects we aim to comprehend, understand and eventually be able to build or contribute to ourselves.

  1. OpenVDB - Dreamworks Animation

  3. OpenEXR - Industrial Light and Magic
  4. OpenSubdiv - Pixar
  5. Id Software Games
  6. Unreal Engine

To understand and potentially convert, if only in part, white papers from relevant conferences and research labs - e.g. Siggraph and Pixar Research.
