Wanted: Author to tutorial or screencast to basic introduction to Git, for participants of the learnclang GitHub group.

Have you reviewed the official documentation material? The Pro Git book gives a GREAT introduction and in-depth overview and is free. Also there are now video tutorials it seems (i have not seen them myself). Surely worth a look!
