Last.fm scrobbler on Debian Jessie (testing)

I tried adding the Last.fm testing repo, but it won't install, because it requires an older libavformat.

Have not tried building this from source (yet), because my Audacious plugin works fine, I just wanted to check this out.

Is this the same as the Debian lastfm package?

Jessie has no lastfm package, you mean:
https://packages.debian.org/sid/lastfm ?

Actually, it seems to have been pulled from Jessie. In April there was a package, now there isn't, for whatever reason.
