preference window never in front of main window caused by animation enabled

Hi there,
When I enable animation feature, then right click on tilda main window and select Preferences,
the preference window shows up, but always behind tilda's main window.
Since I set tilda to about 70% of my screen, that prevents me to access the preferences window,
and I have to give up the animation feature which I can show off to my friends :D
Is there any workaround？

(I am using tilda 1.5.4-1 with openbox on debian bullseye amd64)

all right, I figured it out.
when tilda in fullscreen, the prefences window shows up in front of the main window.

It would help if you could validate if this bug still exists on the latest master branch, since there have been a couple of changes that may have already fixed this.
