  • Bug Description:
After using this app for a while, I realised I could no longer connect to any wifi networks, on my computer.
  • It wont let me connect to presaved wifi networks.
  • It wont scan for available networks, ever.
  • the CLI for NetworkManager is completely broken.
You can do things like: $ NetworkManager eivnmo3596789 and it wont throw any error codes. In
fact, it wont throw anything! it immediately jumps to a new prompt, the second I hit enter.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install Linux Wifi Hotspot on a raspberry pi 5
  2. start the Acess Point service
  3. stop the acess point service
  4. try to connect to any wif i in range; try to view a list of availible networks (that aren't ethernet.), or otherwise try and interface with NetworkManager.

Expected behavior
I expected My Raspberry Pi to connect to a wifi network, once I stopped the hotspot; it hasn't been able to, since I downloaded the app

Raspberry Pi 5, running the latest version of Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm
(cat /proc/version output)
Linux version 6.6.51+rpt-rpi-2712 ([email protected]) (gcc-12 (Debian 12.2.0-14) 12.2.0, GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.40) #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.6.51-1+rpt3 (2024-10-08)

thanks in advance!
