Has anyone gotten this to work? I merged this with the latest commits from laboshinl:master, and I'm getting a segfault when setting cloudNeighborPicked[ind + l]=1, where 'ind' ends up 0 and 'l' starts at -1.

This code isn't touched by the above merge, as far as I can tell, so I'm still in the process of tracking back why 'ind' should be greater than 0 (if that is indeed the case).

Edit to add: My data is missing scan lines (-9.33, was the first on the list, 4 or 5 more, too). This causes erroneous entries for scanStartInd and scanEndInd. Correcting for this removes the segfault, but does not generate quality results.
