Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We, as contributors and maintainers of this project, pledge to make participation in our community a respectful, harassment-free, and inclusive experience for everyone. We commit to fostering a collaborative environment regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Respecting differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
  • Focusing on what is best for the community
  • Showing empathy and kindness toward other community members

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention or advances
  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others’ private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without explicit permission
  • Any other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Our Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.

Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that do not align with this Code of Conduct. They may also temporarily or permanently ban any contributor for behaviors they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all project spaces, including but not limited to the repository, issue trackers, social media, and any other platform used by the project. It also applies to interactions both within project spaces and in public spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community.

Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project team at [email protected]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

All project team members are obligated to maintain confidentiality regarding the reporter of an incident. Further details of specific enforcement policies may be posted separately.

Enforcement Guidelines

Project maintainers will follow these Community Impact Guidelines in determining the consequences for any action they deem in violation of this Code of Conduct:

1. Correction

Impact: Use of inappropriate language or other behavior deemed unprofessional or unwelcome.
Consequence: A private, written warning from project maintainers. Further violations may result in more severe consequences.

2. Warning

Impact: A violation through a single serious incident or a pattern of inappropriate behavior.
Consequence: A warning with consequences for continued behavior, including temporary or permanent removal from interactions with the community.

3. Temporary Ban

Impact: A serious violation of community standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior.
Consequence: A temporary ban from any form of interaction or public communication with the community.

4. Permanent Ban

Impact: Demonstrating a pattern of sustained inappropriate behavior or harassment.
Consequence: A permanent ban from the community.
