Install fails because textures folder is missing all data

I downloaded the North America Ortho set. The downloaded files are stored in a separate folder from X-Plane 12. 
The stored folder is E:/Autoortho Storage 072623. 
The yAutoOrtho_Overlays folder looks fine. It has 1 Earth nav data folder containing all the lat-long folders and their *.dsf files. All Looks normal. 
The z_autootho folder has (2) textures folders and an nz_info.json file. File contents are shown below.

The jason file points to the E:/Autoortho Storage 072623 folder and the z_na files in that folder. Looks normal to me, but I'm not sure what normal looks like.
The first folder (textures) contains all the .png files and they look fine. 
The second folder (textures) has a shortcut arrow at the bottom left. When I click on it, I get the error message attached below.
Each one of the (35) z_na folders has an Earth nav data folder with normal looking lat-long folders containing the .dsf files.
Each z_na folder has a terrain folder with normal looking .png files.
Each z_na folder also also has a textures folder with the same shortcut arrow and the same error message as before.
I've deleted all the files and redownloaded them with the same result.
I also tried a prior version of DokanSetup with the same result, so I went back to the latest version.
I'm running X-Plane 12 and Windows 10. with a 1 Gb internet connection.
When I run X-Plane the scenery is just generic looking, blurred scenery.
I tried adding some overlays that I had used with X-Plane 11 but there was no difference.

E:Autoortho_Storage_072623\textures is unavailable. Make sure it's not moved or deleted.

This project is about the scenery, but your problem is about the installer.
