This is vim, using the Monokai color scheme, inside Git Bash, from msysGit, in Windows XP.

In the title of the bug you mention gVim, yet your screenshot shows vim.

The real bug as far as I can tell is that this color scheme does not support 256-Color terminals. Zenburn is a great example of a color scheme that works in gui and non-gui vim. I encourage sickill to check it out, you should update this monokai theme: https://github.com/jnurmine/Zenburn

Well, Zenburn looks okay. There's another monokai theme that better supports 256, but even that doesn't look good. So far I am tweaking this monokai theme, I may put in a push request if i have time to finish this up.
