Initial thoughts:

continuous monitoring and low power mode. Specifies frequency of sampling.
DC and battery-powered modes. WHen batter-powered switch to low-power, but give ability for user to change settings as they like.
BLE on and off.
Display on and off.

Expected outcome:
A section in README which outlines all details of intended modes of operation. Include diagrams if possible.
