Needs admin creds to update youtube-dl?

Do you have any instruction on how to bypass the require of my admin creds? I'm using the latest youtube-dl 2017.10.15.1.

Hi,
I think it depends on how youtube-dl was installed to begin with. If you used MacPorts or using virga.app bundle (with youtube-dl binary included), you'd need admin password to update. If it is installed via brew or from sources, chances are no password would be necessary.

To disable admin-password dialog, just modify main virga.applescript:85:

virga.app-youtube-dl-GUI-for-OS-X/virga.applescript
