My Lora model has no effect in the prompt

Hi ! I watched the 2 videos but I'm confused with the usage of Lora extension inside stable_diffusion web ui
Do I have to enable extensions and select my model on the additional networks inside the text2img tab ?
or is it enough to select Lora in the "show extra networks" option and adding it to the prompt ?
neither of those options appear to have an effect on my render
any tips ?

I found the source of my problem, my captions exension was .txt, but in training parameters I left blank the caption extension input field, and the default extension is . caption.. so
I input .txt in that field and now my models are working, hope it helps
