Login Verificiation Window Closes

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open application
2. Press "Login"
3. Open keyboard/change screen orientation.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The window that asks permission to use your google account should reopen when 
the main menu reloads.  It instead just loads the main menu.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
App version: b042213 Operating System: Android 2.3.4 Phone: T-mobile G2

Please provide any additional information below.
This is just a bit of sub-optimal interface, not really a bug.
