Knulli build version

firefly 2024/12/04 03:10

Your architecture

RGCUBEXX handheld

Issue description

I'm a first time user. On a fresh flash install it boots ok but no game will start.

Checking logs indicated a corrupt batocera.conf file. Fails to start any game, menu fade outs and in.

To fix I:

ssh [email protected]
vi batocera.conf

fixed missing comment on line 2.

from

led.mode=1
--- A - System Options ----------- #

to

led.mode=1
# --- A - System Options ----------- #204

seems to work. Not sure why the fresh install has this corruption though.

Detailed reproduction steps

Installed using etcher.

Details of any attempts to fix this yourself

Checked log and fixed conf manually as indicated above.

Details of any modifications you have made to Knulli.

Fresh clean install

I believe in the release notes it recommends that if you are using a 2 sd card setup to rename the “/userdata/system/“ directory to something like system.old and rebooting so that everything populates as defaults.

There were a lot of internal changes between the 7/21 public release and firefly.
