Feature Request: edit-and-execute-command

Hi,
would it be possible to support edit-and-execute-command from gnu readline/bash? I used it every hour, and interested in setting this for nushell.

I did a quick search and couldn't find anything related to it or it got a different name.

• Find how readline/bash implements it (Ctrl-Z ?).
• Find how key sequence are customised (C-XC-E) in python-prompt-toolkit (or similar libraries).
