ExpressTS with Docker

This is an example of Express in Typescript and Docker.

MongoDB debug is true by default, to turn it off, set DEBUG_MONGO=false in .env or your system's environment file

Docker

$ docker-compose up
$ npm run docker-compose // build and compose

Installation

If you want to run the code without docker, just run the commands below.

Make sure to edit the .env file

For docker, you need to update the environment settings in the docker-compose.yml.

docker-compose.yml will override .env settings

Simply run

$ npm install 

or via Yarn.

$ yarn 

Running in development

$ npm run dev

Type rs inside the terminal to manually restart the app.

Linting

$ npm run lint

Automated Tests

$ npm run test

Please check the documentation folder

To update the documentation, just run

$ npm run doc
