Stuck on Step 2 while trying to mint TBTC on the DApp

After successfully connecting to Metamask, selecting deposit size, and receiving a confirmation that the Tx was successful the screen then goes to step 2 'Initiating Deposit' - 'Fetching BTC Address'. The DApp never progress after step 2. I don't receive an error message, rather it just stays on the 'Fetching BTC address' forever. I tried leaving it to load, but even after 15+ hours it had not changed.

I have tried numerous times to get past Step 2 in different sessions, but I always encounter the same problem.
